Die libysche ist die einfachste der Welt. Libyen wählte die komplett grüne Flagge nachdem es sich 1977 von der "Federation of Arab Republics" losgesagt hatt. Sie soll Libyens Bestrebungen nach einer "grünen Revolution in der Agrarwirtschaft" zum Ausdruck bringen.

Libya must be the best kept secret of North Africa. But over the recent years it has opened up to the world. An increasing number of travellers get to see the country's stunning nature, wild mountains, scattered with fragile green spots of forests and agriculture.
But what brings Libya to most tourists' attention are the fantastic Roman ruins along the coast. Leptis Magna and Sebratha are stunning, but not the only places.
While most of Libyan Sahara is mountainous, Libya offers a couple of the longest treks of sand desert in the world.
Getting to Libya if you are of Western citizenship is quite a task, unless you pay for organised trips. Costs represent a problem, Libya is more expensive than many European countries.
